On Monday, January 10, 2022, at approximately 1:42 PM, Fullerton Police Officers responded to Euclid Street and Baker Street regarding reports of a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a tree.

Upon arrival, officers located the male driver still in the vehicle.  The motorist had some injuries and was transported from the scene by Fullerton Fire Department. He was later pronounced deceased at UCI Medical Center. 

Preliminary investigation revealed the motorist was traveling southbound on Euclid Street and lost control of the vehicle.  The vehicle crossed over the center median as well as the northbound lanes of Euclid Street colliding into a tree on the east sidewalk of Euclid Street north of the 91 freeway. A possible medical condition prior to the collision will be investigated.

The deceased male’s identity will be released by the Orange County Coroner at a time they feel is appropriate and pending notification of the next of kin.
