Face Coverings Required for Fullerton Businesses and Patrons (April 24, 2020)

On Tuesday, April 21st the Fullerton City Council voted to enhance the County of Orange’s requirement for face coverings at certain essential businesses by including banking establishments and requiring patrons of those businesses to also wear face coverings. Per the County order, and now including the Fullerton addition, all employees of any grocery store, pharmacy/drug store, convenience store, gas station, restaurant, food preparation establishment, banking establishment, or retail store in Fullerton who may have contact with the public must wear a cloth face covering while at work.

Fullerton Passes Eviction Moratorium to Include Residential and Commercial Tenants (March 26, 2020)

The Fullerton City Council voted to pass an eviction moratorium ordinance in response to the pandemic emergency related to the spread of COVID-19. The moratorium includes both residential and commercial tenants with a 180-day deferral period. Please see the following FAQ sheet for more detail. The City has also provided a checklist and sample letter to assist tenants in complying with the moratorium ordinance requirements.

City Manager Issues Emergency Proclamation in Response to COVID-19 (March 17, 2020)

City Manager Kenneth Domer signed a formal Proclamation of Local Emergency, as a means to work with State and Federal authorities to slow the transmission of COVID-19.

Fullerton Postpones/Cancels Public Gatherings in Accordance with State Recommendations (March 13, 2020)

The City of Fullerton has canceled and/or postponed several large and small public gatherings following the release of guidelines from the California Department of Public Health aimed at slowing the transmission of COVID-19 (coronavirus).
