As part of the General Plan Update, a stand alone Bicycle Element was adopted to guide bikeway planning within the City.

The Bicycle Element is intended to meet needs and concerns of residents, harmonize bikeway and recreational trail systems and users, and gain eligibility for certain types of funding for continued improvements to bikeway systems in Fullerton.
