Requirements

In accordance with the City of Fullerton's Water Rates, Rules and Regulations Rule Number 18 Meter Tests and Adjustments of Bills for Meter Error, a customer may request a meter test for accuracy.

Prior to the Utility Staff testing the meter for accuracy, the Customer shall deposit with the Utility a "Meter Test Deposit" as designated in the adopted fee resolution.

Meter tests may only be requested for active accounts in your name.

Terms, Conditions, and Fees

The meter test will incur a charge of at the most current fee adopted by city resolution. Fee must be paid prior to scheduling the meter test. Once the application is completed, please contact the Utility Services Division at (714) 738-6890 to arrange payment.

• The current fee for a 1” meter is $230.00 (two hundred thirty dollars)
• The current fee for a 1 1/2 “ and 2” meter is $211.00 (two hundred eleven dollars)
  
  

Test Observation

The customer may choose to be present for the meter test.
