• A Proclamation is a ceremonial document issued by the City Council to commemorate a specific time period (day, week, or month) for the purpose of raising awareness about local efforts.
• A Certificate of Resolution is a ceremonial document that generally commends a local person, business or organization for service to the community for a particular accomplishment that benefits the community of is deemed exemplary.

All presentation requests, certificates and proclamations are subject to review and approval and must reflect a significant achievement, milestone, or community benefit.
