Secret Pals serves as a scholarship fund for children of Fullerton to participate in a variety of City-sponsored recreational programs and activities. Recreation program scholarships available for qualifying Fullerton youth, 18 years and younger.  Awarded scholarships can help a child join in on one of the following classes and activities:

  • Dance Classes
  • Art Camps
  • Health and Fitness
  • Music Lessons
  • Sports Camps
  • Swimming Lessons

Every child deserves an opportunity to grow and learn from a healthy, safe, nurturing environment within their community. The Secret Pal Scholarship Fund is a program that has been offered through the Fullerton Parks and Recreation Department since 1991. It was created to assist families in need with the costs of recreational activities. The City of Fullerton has seen the long lasting effects that recreational programs can have on participants. Positive recreational experiences can have positive effects on self-esteem, physical health and more.

How to Apply for a Secret Pals Youth Scholarship

In order to qualify for the Secret Pals scholarship, potential participants must meet Federal eligibility requirements. Some restrictions apply.

Contact (714) 738-6575 for additional information.  Please return applications in person at the Fullerton Community Center front desk, 340 W. Commonwealth Ave., Fullerton, CA 92832 along with a copy of a recent W-2 form.
