Egleth Nuncci

Chief's Advisory Board Member

Egleth Nuncci has been a long-time resident of the City of Fullerton and started her community work through the Fullerton School District. As a mother she wanted to be involved in her daughters’ education and betterment of our community. As President of the Fullerton District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) she advises the District to educate and involve parents in their children’s education by focusing on technology courses and implementing the Dual Language Emersion Academy. Through her volunteer work with Pacific Drive Elementary School, she had the opportunity to meet former Chief of Police, Dan Hughes. He invited her to be part of his advisory board because he wanted to include residents that worked to create a positive change in their community. She has been involved with the Chief Advisory Board for 4 years and has had the opportunity in helping the Police Chief visit schools in South Fullerton to create a positive relationship with parents in the community. Presently, working alongside Interim Chief Dunn, she has focused her community work in bringing together the Latino community with the Fullerton Police Department. Her goal is to help residents, especially Latino residents, gain a better understanding of the Police Department and build trust in order to work together as a community.
