The Crimes Property Unit is responsible for the investigation of all crimes where the motive is financial gain, or crimes that result in the theft or destruction of property. Areas investigated include commercial and residential burglaries, high tech crimes, auto theft, theft, arson, vandalism, financial crimes, fraudulent checks, embezzlements, identity theft, and internet fraud.
