Captain - Jose Arana

Operations Division Commander

Captain Arana has had a variety of assignments during his career with the Fullerton Police Department. He started as a Police Cadet before being hired as a Police Officer in 2001. He worked as a detective in the Narcotics Unit, a detective in Robbery/Homicide, and as a Sergeant in Internal Affairs. Currently, Captain Arana oversees the Operations Division.

Captain -Pedram Gharah

Services Division Commander

Captain Gharah has had a variety of assignments during his career with the department. He started as a Police Cadet before being hired as a Police Officer in 2004. He worked as an officer in our Downtown Echo Unit, a detective in the Narcotics Unit, and a Sergeant on the Directed Enforcement Team.

In addition to his operational roles, Captain Gharah also oversaw the Police Cadet Program, Field Training Officer Program, Police Services Representative Program, Front Desk Operations, and the Downtown Echo Unit.

Currently, Captain Gharah oversees the Support Services Division.
