Water In The Meter Box 

If your water meter is leaking or you notice water coming out of  your meter box, please call us immediately at (714) 738-6897. A repair person will usually arrive within an hour to inspect the leak. If the leak is on the City's side of the meter (up to the point where the house's supply line joins the meter), the meter will be replaced, or the leak will be repaired. Residential meters are replaced at least every 20 years.

Damaged Or Missing Meter Box Lids

If you notice your meter box lid is damaged or missing and needs to be replaced, please call us immediately at (714) 738-6897. A repair person will usually arrive within an hour to replace the damaged or missing meter box lid.
