As Law Enforcement looks at new ways to reduce crime; Fullerton Police Department has turned to an Intelligence-led Policing model. Simply put, by turning to historical data as it relates to crime trends, we can better predict how, when and where crime is likely to occur and then direct resources to combat crime.

Of course, no-one can predict all crime; all the time, nor can we be all places at all times. This is why we rely on the public to become engaged as part of the crime fighting solution. By providing information to the community, residents can better prepare themselves to combat crime.

Residents can now access real-time crime mapping using www.communitycrimemap.com ; receive weekly updates about unusual occurrences in their neighborhoods by signing up at www.FullertoniWatch.com; read about crime prevention tips; and get the latest news on what’s occurring in Fullerton by logging onto www.FullertonPD.org. All of these tools are designed with one goal in mind; to open lines of communication between the Fullerton Police Department and the community.
