Customer understands that the After Hours Water Turn On fee can be avoided by (re)establishing service during regular City business hours yet requests water service to be turned on at the service address outside of regular City business hours. Customer understands a charge of $201.00 or the most current fee adopted by resolution, PLUS any other charges must be paid the following business day. Failure to pay will result in water service being shut off and accrual of additional charges.

Customer will contact the Utility Services Division at (714) 738-6890 by 10:00am the next business day to arrange payment and provide any other required information to update the account or water will be turned off and additional fees assessed.

The After Hours Charge will not be waived if water cannot be restored. It is recommended the customer be on-site when the water is turned on to avoid a situation where the water could not be turned on such as:

• If the water is turned on and usage is detected, the Utility will leave the water off if the customer is not present.
• If the meter is inaccessible.

An additional request to turn the water service on will result in an additional charge for any situations that prevent the water from being turned on.
