How Do I Visit an Inmate?

The Fullerton Police Department Jail allows visitation of inmates in a specified visitation room. Those wishing to visit inmates must abide by the following rules:

• Visitors must present a valid government-issued form of identification to visit inmates.
• If the arrest is for domestic violence and you are an involved party, the visit may be denied.
• If you are a party to the arrest, you may be denied a visit.
• No person under the age of 18 shall be allowed to visit an inmate, unless they are in the company of a parent.
• Visits are limited to 15 minutes, unless authorized by the on-duty jailer.
• Packages or letters are not permitted to be delivered to a prisoner personally. These items shall be given to the jailer for examination and approval.
• All Clergy, Bail Bondsmen and Attorneys with proper identification and credentials specific to their profession (i.e. California Bar Card), are allowed longer visitation at any time.
• General public visitation will not be allowed on the day of the arrest.
• All visitations must be approved by the Watch Commander or Jail Supervisor.

When Can I Visit?

Fullerton Police Department Jail visitation hours are daily from 9:00am-11:00am, and 12:00pm (noon)-1:30pm.
