Tri-City Park MapAcreage: 40 acres

The Tri-City Authority is the body that governs Tri-City Park. It is made up of representatives of Fullerton, Placentia and Brea. The Tri-City Authority established the Tri-City Master Plan Design Committee to oversee the creation of a Master Plan for Tri-City Park. The Tri-City Park Master Plan Design Committee is made up of community representatives from the cities of Placentia, Fullerton and Brea as well as Parks & Recreation Commissioners and staff from all three cities.

Phase 3 is the creation of a proposed master plan with alternates, to be presented to the Authority in late May 2010.

Draft master plan for Tri-City Park
The draft plan, prepared with citizen input, is being reviewed by the Tri-City Park Master Plan Design Committee, which consists of 10 appointed members from the three cities, and six at-large members, one from each city, for a total of 16 members. Once the Committee’s review is done, the plan will be presented to the Tri-City Park Authority for action. Further information about the master plan process may be obtained by calling Doug Pickard, Fullerton parks project specialist, at (714) 738-3330 or email DouglasP@ci.fullerton.ca.us.

Phase 2, which was the community input phase, kicked off on December 5, 2009 with a public meeting held at Tri-City Park. The public was given the opportunity to give feedback as to what they thought about the park, what their likes and dislikes about the park were, and so on. The residents of the three cities have been and are still invited to give feedback about the park.

Phase 1 of the master planning process consisted of a site inventory and analysis and discussions of opportunities and constraints. The Design Committee started working with a landscape architect (Mia Lehrer and Associates) in August, of 2009, as part of Phase 1.

Maintained by the cities of Brea, Fullerton and Placentia.
