Fullerton Sports Complex is the largest park designed for sports use in the city. The park provides ample onsite parking, a large playground, restroom facilities, a snack bar and three baseball fields complete with backstops, lighting and bleacher seating. In addition, two soccer fields are seasonally available. The park also serves as an access to the Lost Trail that runs through the Brea Dam Recreational Area, and connects with other city trails.
Gary Carter Field was dedicated on February 22, 2014. Thanks to the following who were vital to creating a top-notch event including, the Fullerton Little Leagues, (West Fullerton, East Fullerton, and Golden Hill), Ron Weston, our PA announcer, the Darden Sisters who beautifully sang the National Anthem, Ron Cey who attended on behalf of the Los Angeles Dodgers and signed countless autographs and the City of Fullerton staff. All of your support for our hometown Hall of Famer was exemplary. Here's to inspiring the next generation of athletes to imitate Gary Carter's sportsmanship, enthusiasm, leadership, generosity and success on the baseball field and in the game of life.
