The City of Fullerton and Republic Services will be giving away compost for FREE on:

Saturday, March 2, 2024
8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (or until all the compost is distributed)
Independence Park
801 W. Valencia Drive

Please bring your own solid containers or buckets (no bags, please), which Republic Services staff will fill with compost.  There is a limit of 60 gallons per household. Residents must provide proof of Fullerton residency (California driver’s license or utility bill). This event will be held rain or shine.

Compost creates healthier soil by adding organic matter and improving soil structure. Healthy soil uses water more efficiently, allowing available water to flow toward your plants’ roots, storing water in the soil longer, and reducing runoff and erosion.
